Sat alias Petr Lovětínský, born in 1985, met electronic music for the first time at elementary school age when he was listening to The Prodigy. A few years later, he was briefly enjoying trance, but that immediately led him to progressive house and this style really won him over. In 2002, he began attending parties at the famous Prague club Roxy, where he was greatly influenced by dj Joel Einhorn and two years later, he bought his own equipment and started buying records. But meanwhile, the sound on the progressive house scene began to change, as it was being influenced by electro and tech sound more and more, which led many famous djs and producers to changing their style. Luckily, there were new producers who, like Sat himself, sought after classic melodic and atmospheric sound, which has always been typical for progressive house. At the beginning, mainly producers from Argentina and Hungary, later also from Russia have been those standing for now better called deep progressive house. In 2006 Sat changed to a digital format and had his first gigs at clubs in Prague, which he extended more the following year just to be given a chance to play at the legendary clubs Roxy and Palác Akropolis in 2008. At this time, his style range has already become wider as he combines his typical deep progressive with melodic tracks of progressive house and deep house. In the following year of 2009 he gains a gig at one of the most successful parties in Czech Republic, the night Zen at Roxy and also at truly Legendary Waves at Houseboat U Bukanýra. Together with those highly valued moments, this year for Sat is about the move from progressive house more to deep house, which becomes the primary genre for him, while still combining various house music subgenres and moods.
